Hi I’m Jade.
I’m a creative producer, artist, designer, and musician dedicated to powerful, purpose-driven storytelling.
Over the past decade, I’ve collaborated with NGOs, production houses, independent artists and cultural organisations to create stories that matter — working across mediums in film, design, illustration, animation, and music. My aim is to be a part of projects that encourage the building of a better world. Peace by piece.
My creative work explores themes of future solutions, fairness, indigenous wisdom, climate resilience, the refugee experience, human rights and mythology — but at its heart, everything I do is about finding beauty and truth in service of positive change.
Film & Storytelling
My early creative career was built in film — and for many years, I worked primarily in producing and directing roles for broadcast and theatrical teams. I’ve written and produced independent short films and collaborated with global crews on projects for Netflix, BBC, Amazon, Sky, Smithsonian, HHMI Tangled Bank, and YouTube, as well as independent studios like Tailfeather, Passion Pictures, Storyhunter, Arrow Media, RAW TV, WaterBear, and Make Waves.
As a story producer and development lead, I’ve also helped shape film concepts of others from idea to delivery — often working closely with researchers, producers, directors and editors to bring complex themes to life.
Design Illustration & Animation
As an artist and designer, I work across print and digital to create visual materials for individuals and companies across the globe. My design practice includes pitch decks, visual branding, key art, album artwork, posters, concept art, storyboards, animated sequences, social media content, and more. While many of my early clients came from the world of film and music, I now regularly collaborate with charities, NGOs and values-led organisations to shape design strategies that resonate, inspire & educate as well.
I’m also an illustrator and take on bespoke commissions — from graphic novels and album covers to character design and educational illustrations.
I also direct and design short-form animations, either independently or in collaboration with other animators and visual artists. Below is a clip from Mother of the Forest: Curupira, part of the Living Stories series on the WaterBear Network — an award-winning short I also series produced for the Waterbear Network.
Fieldwork & Activism
In 2021, I moved to Senegal, West Africa, to project manage a community restoration initiative following devastating floods that displaced vulnerable youth and families in Saint-Louis. Working in collaboration with Maison de la Gare — and in the wake of filming The Letter — I raised funds, led on-the-ground logistics, community engagement, and creative campaigns to support recovery and advocacy.
That experience grounded my creative purpose. Whether as a manager, producer, or artist — I use my creative powers to do good, and support organisations in telling urgent stories, raising awareness, and building momentum for change.
Music
I’ve always seen a deep synergy between music, storytelling, and impact. In early 2025, I had the privilege of working as an associate producer on a documentary currently in production collaborating with War Child, one of my favourite charities for its integration of music and music therapy into humanitarian relief.
Alongside this, I’ve always written and recorded my own music. In 2024, I released my first single — a cover of ‘Wayfaring Stranger’, now featured in the podcast Sayonaraville. In 2025, my debut original track ‘Mangroves’ was released — a song designed to raise awareness of those communities on the west coast of Africa who are being displaced due to rising sea levels.
Let’s Collaborate
I now work remotely with a growing international client base — from grassroots NGOs to production studios and arts institutions. If you’re working on a meaningful project and looking for creative direction, visual storytelling, or artistic collaboration — I’d love to hear from you.
